According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray have been told by Italian agent George Gardi he could help them to sign Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford next summer.

Fanatik today report on Gardi approaching the Turkish champions with regards to the England international. The Italian was involved in the deals to bring in Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray so he creates some excitement among the fanbase.

With Icardi sidelined for the foreseeable future and Osimhen set to leave when his loan spell expires in the summer, Galatasaray will be in the market for a forward. Gardi has reportedly contracted Cimbom officials claiming ‘I can bring Rashford’, and he’s been given authorisation to broker a deal for the Manchester United star.

However, it’s very unlikely Rashford would be interested in such a move at this stage of his career or that Manchester United would sell to the Turkish side.

The 27-year-old looks to be part of Ruben Amorim’s future plans as the Portuguese hopes to turn around the club’s fortunes.

Given Gardi’s success with Icardi and Osimhen, perhaps his confidence has over-boiled a little on this one.

Rashford has made 19 appearances for the Red Devils this season, scoring five goals. He’s contracted to the Old Trafford side until June 2028
