Dutch newspaper AD believe there’s hope that the situation has been resolved for training today, but there’s no update on whether the Newcastle United owned player got the green light.
AD report that even individual training was banned, so Pivas went back to Serbia to train with his old club.
He travelled to the Netherlands again this week, and the assumption is that’s because the paperwork is sorted out.
Pivas needs a work permit because Serbia isn’t part of the EU.
