Chelsea are planning to bring Brazilian youngster Estêvão to the club in the near future so he can view the club’s facilities.
That’s according to Nosso Palestra, while GE Globo report that there is a plan to transform the Brazilian youngster from his current position in future.
First the former, who report that Chelsea are planning to bring Estêvão to England sometime soon, with a trip planned for the break between the Brazilian seasons.
Chelea are currently in talks with Palmeiras and Estêvão to arrange a time for the trip to take place and whether he will receive a tour of the facilities.
The idea is nothing new, with Chelsea having done the same with Kendry Paez since he signed and Real Madrid also inviting Endrick to the club in 2023 ahead of his move.
Estêvão’s agent, André Cury, already visited Chelsea in 2023 with the player’s father before moving forward in negotiations. Now the plan is to get the player himself over sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, it seems the Blues are already drawing up plans for what they’ll do with the talented youngster in future.
According to GE Globo, Chelsea are planning to move the player from the wing, where he has shone in Brazil, into a more central role.
That’s currently occupied by Cole Palmer, but Chelsea want to test Estêvão there in future despite the youngster never having played in a central role.
This is something supported by his agent, who has moved to calm fears when asked about the idea.
“He adapts to any style of play. Chelsea is a club that sees Estevão playing as a 10, and that is important. He can develop even more playing in the middle,” he is quoted as saying when asked by UOL.
