Manchester City are negotiating a buy-back guarantee for youngster Joel Ndala before selling him to PSV Eindhoven.

That’s according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who reports that Manchester City don’t want to lose control of the player in future.

Ndala has been closing in on a move to PSV today after they made a late move to sign him from Manchester City.

Reports earlier today stated that City would be earning several million Euros from the deal, which was progressing quickly for the 18-year-old.

Elfrink reports that negotiations continue between Manchester City and PSV but are being held up by the former insisting that a buy-back guarantee be included in the deal.

A verbal agreement has been reached but Ndala has not yet been officially released by Manchester City to complete the move. In other words, they’ve not given him permission to travel for a medical and to complete the move.

That will presumably happen once they’ve gotten what they want from PSV Eindhoven, specifically that buy-back guarantee for the future.

We’re sure the Dutch side will agree on that sooner rather than later, with time running out and Elfrink making it clear the youngster is the planned newcomer for the Eredivisie champions.
