Boubacar Traoré could be set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final days of the transfer window, with Feyenoord and Borussia Mönchengladbach both interested.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who say several clubs have looked into the midfielder’s situation at Wolves in recent days.
They report that Feyenoord and Mönchengladbach are both interested in the Wolves man, with the latter having been keen for a year. They’re concerned about the situation around Manu Koné and so are ‘on the lookout’.
L’Equipe’s information follows a report from yesterday in the Netherlands that made it clear Feyenoord had contact. That made no mention of whether it was a loan deal or a permanent transfer. It seems it was the latter and a bid has now been rejected.
It now remains to be seen whether they or Mönchengladbach make a bigger bids or push Wolves more seriously to try and secure his signature.
It’s certainly a situation to keep an eye on, with the interest there and Traoré being targeted before the end of the transfer window.
