Earlier today, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Juventus have given the green light for a move, after Liverpool apparently came forward with a €15m offer for Federico Chiesa.

It was also said the Premier League side have to agree a deal with the winger, to get the move over the line. As well as the Reds, Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing him.

Italian journalist Giovanni Albanese claims Chiesa will ‘wait for a few more hours’ for the La Liga side.

Albanese states Barca are the Italy international’s first choice. If the Catalan club were to show no signs of wishing to complete a deal, he will pick Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport state that Arne Slot’s Liverpool advance to snatch the 26-year-old for Barca’s clutches.

Barca’s financial situation hasn’t allowed them to take the decisive step. Tuttosport state the Reds have taken advantage of this and are ready to make an official offer of €15m. It’s to be noted TMW reported that they already came forward with a €15m bid.

It’s further claimed Liverpool are offering a four-year deal to Chiesa, and he would have already given his approval to join them.

While Albanese says Chiesa needs a few more hours, Tuttosport say he’s made a decision to join Liverpool. This case should be resolved in the next few hours.

Again, as we’ve stated repeatedly, Chiesa has been linked with half the Premier League this summer. His agent, Fali Ramadani, has been desperately trying to drum up interest for weeks. For him to now have a choice of Liverpool and Barcelona feels too good to be true.
