Club make contract with Sheffield United player’s agent – Want to know his demands

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce are showing an interest in Sheffield United midfielder Vinicius Souza.

Throughout this summer Fener manager Jose Mourinho has been keen to bolster his central midfield options and the Brazilian looks to be a new target for the Super Lig side.

Sports Digitale today report on Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the Sheffield United player, and they say the Istanbul club have contracted the 25-year-old’s agent. It’s claimed the Yellow Canaries are trying to get information on what the midfielder’s demands would be if they came in for him this summer.

There are no reports of any transfer talks or offers at this stage, but Fenerbahce want to bring in an experienced central midfielder before the window closes.

Mourinho has been targeting a number of possible replacements in recent weeks, mainly players from England.

Souza made 38 appearances for Sheffield United last season, scoring one goal. He’s contracted to the Blades until June 2027 after arriving at Bramhall Lane last summer.
