AS Roma’s Tammy Abraham is likely about to leave the club this summer and there could be the possibility of a Premier League return.

The Serie A club signed Artem Dovbyk from Girona as favoured option, but Abraham did feature briefly for the Giallorossi against Cagliari yesterday.

There now seems to be interest from West Ham and Il Romanista journalist Simone Valdarchi has spoken about it in an interview with MilanNews24. He’s claimed West Ham are ready to put forward 20m for the striker.

Valdarchi is quoted as saying: “During the transfer market, many Premier League teams were linked to Abraham, but without anything so concrete. To date, West Ham seems to be the most interested club and ready to offer just over €20m.

“As for the player’s will, I believe that the possibility of playing for Milan fascinates him, even if the Premier League would be a homecoming for him.”

This comes after we have previously covered Il Romanista’s claim about West Ham being willing to offer a significant amount for Abraham.

While Valdarchi has mentioned that Abraham would prefer a move to Milan, the Rossoneri haven’t come forward with an offer yet.

Having said that, West Ham have signed a striker in Niclas Füllkrug, so it remains to be seen if their interest has somewhat diluted.
