Brighton player ‘could arrive’ at new club this week – ‘Ready to invest’ significant bonuses in deal

Brighton’s Billy Gilmour has been linked with a move to Napoli for weeks but it’s still not over the live.

The Scotsman remains a Brighton player, and came on as a substitute against Everton.

RAI’s Ciro Venerato, as relayed by AreaNapoli, have reported that with Napoli having sealed a move for David Neres, the next incoming player would be Gilmour.

In fact, the midfielder ‘could arrive’ in the city ahead of the move this week. For now, Napoli are ‘ready to invest’ €12m initially and bonuses of €3m or €4m. As we’ve said repeatedly, they’re going to have to improve on that if they want him in quickly.
