Aftonbladet today report Djurgårdens IF have reached an agreement to sign Al Fateh SC goalkeeper Jacob Rinne which will now allow Jacob Widell-Zetterström to sign for Derby County.

Derby County have been working to sign Widell-Zetterström in recent weeks and sucequently Djurgårdens have been looking to bring in his replacement.

According to Aftonbladet, Rinne has agreed to a long-term contract, reported to be five and a half years. They will officially announce Rinne as their player in the coming weeks once everything has been signed off.

The Swedish media outlet go on to say that Derby County can now complete a deal for Widell-Zetterström, after that transfer dragged on in recent weeks.

Earlier today we covered comments the 26-year-old made when he confirmed he travelled to England last week to have a medical with the Rams. Widell-Zetterström has also recently gone on record to say playing in England would be a dream.

There have been reports in Sweden that the Championship side will pay £2m for the Swede, plus £600k in possible add-ons.
