Things have been ‘going badly wrong’ at Bregel Sport in recent weeks with the manager resigning, the players rebelling, and two pre-season games already forfeited.
That’s a by-product of financial troubles ruining the club but Penders’ transfer to Chelsea ‘could save the club’ as they’d receive a training fee from the player.
The figure isn’t clear at this point, but it would be sufficient to ‘turn the tide at the club’ and get them back on the right track.
