Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at Manchester United seems quite uncertain. We covered links with Galatasaray last week and the possibility of a swap deal with Inter has been spoken up in the last 24 hours.
There has been an update from Italy about the situation of the United full-back, who arrived at the club from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019.
InterLive have looked at the scenario in some detail today, stating that even though there has been talk of a swap involving Wan-Bissaka’s and Inter’s Denzel Dumfries, the Italian champions aren’t interested in that possibility.
That is largely because the Netherlands international is preparing to sign a new deal at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The report doesn’t end there as the situation of Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani is explored.
It is mentioned that United are ‘interested’ in the player and could offer Wan-Bissaka and cash in the deal because the right-back’s current deal at Old Trafford runs out in the summer of 2025.
Asllani hasn’t quite impressed since his arrival from Empoli and the possibility of a swap deal with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat has also been mentioned in the report.
