Dirilis Postasi today claim Fenerbahce have stepped up their pursuit of Burnley midfielder Sander Berge.
The Norwegian international has been linked with the Turkish side in recent days following claims they’d initiated talks with the Championship side.
According to the Turkish media outlet, Berge is on a five-man list of midfielders Fenerbahce are looking to potentially bring in this summer. It’s claimed the Fener sporting director Mario Branco will this week travel to England to hold transfer talks with the central midfielder.
Branco is also expected to hold negotiations with Burnley and then a decision will be made on the player.

The Fenerbahce manager has been looking towards England to recruit a midfielder and the Super Lig side have been linked with several Premier League players in recent weeks.
Berge made 40 appearances last season for Burnley, scoring 3 goals. He’s contracted to the Turf Moor club until June 2027.
