There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Aston Villa have made an improved offer to sign Besiktas attacker Semih Kilicsoy.

The Premier League side have been linked with the Turkey international in recent weeks after he impressed for Besiktas last season.

Gune Bakis have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Kilicsoy following reports of a possible transfer to England this summer.

It’s claimed Aston Villa have come in with an improved offer of €30m to sign the 18-year-old in this window, but there are no reports if the Black Eagles will accept this.

According to the Turkish media outlet the English club initially offered Besiktas €18m, plus Alex Moreno heading to Istanbul on a season long loan deal, and this was rejected.

Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the young forward after claims last month they were to hold transfer talks to sign him. Arsenal and Manchester United were also mentioned.

Kilicsoy made 30 appearances for Besiktas last season, scoring 12 goals. He’s contracted to the Super Lig side until June 2028.
