Earlier this week there were claims in Italy that Juventus and Jean-Clair Todibo had come to an agreement on personal terms.
It was explained the central defender would receive a little over €2m per year plus bonuses, with the figures given being after tax.
France’s RMC now shows up with an exclusive saying personal terms have been agreed, which doesn’t feel like anything new but they do insist West Ham United remain in ‘very advanced’ talks with Nice to sign the player.
The 24-year-old’s contract runs until June 2027, so they’re under no pressure in that regard either.
Nice are unlikely to completely fold and therefore Juventus will have to make something of an effort to get closer to what West Ham are prepared to offer.
RMC’s report suggests West Ham aren’t simply walking away from this one.
