Three days ago, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported Leicester City are ready to make a bid for Juventus’ Matias Soulé.
The winger was on loan at Frosinone last season, where he played alongside Caleb Okoli. The Nigerian defender completed a move to Leicester earlier this week.
On Thursday, Tuttosport stated the new Foxes signing has held talks with Soulé to explain Leicester’s project.
Despite Thiago Motta wanting to retain the player, Juve will have to sacrifice him in order to raise funds, and Leicester want to sign him this summer.
After managing 11 goals and three assists for Frosinone last season, he attracted interest from several clubs. The report claims Leicester are the one who are serious about Soulé.
It’s claimed the Foxes are ‘ready to make a written offer’ of €25m plus €5m bonuses to sign the Argentina U21 international. They have already made a verbal proposal including the same figures and it didn’t convince the Turin club.
The newspaper claims if Leicester were to raise the fixed fee by €5m, they would be able to secure Soulé’s services.
