Liverpool have become the latest club to be credited with interest in Juventus’ Gleison Bremer, according to Tutto Juve.
The centre-back is with the Brazil squad at the Copa América, where he was an unused substitute in three matches so far.
Speaking to AS, the 27-year-old said he’s aware of the reports linking him to other clubs, but he’ll only talk about his future after the Copa América.
It’s claimed the Reds have shown interest in the defender in ‘recent weeks’, and they are one of four clubs to have asked about his situation. The other three are Liverpool’s league rivals Manchester United and Chelsea, and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
In December, the Brazil international renewed his contract until 2028. The report states it includes a release clause that varies between €60m and €70m, and it’ll come into effect in the summer of 2025.
If Liverpool or another club want to sign Bremer, they have to spend big as Tutto Juve say the Old Lady will need ‘at least €70m’ to evaluate his sale this summer.
