Tottenham Dejan Kulusevski has been handing out life advice to children this summer, and seemingly outed himself as something of an expert in it.

That’s at least if his latest comments in Mitt i Haninge are anything to go by, with them covering his trip to speak to children in Sweden.

They explain that the Tottenham man was recently present at Jordbro IP last week to talk to children about football during the summer holidays.

While there he spoke to a group of 10–13-year old’s from IFK Haninge, taking part in a question-and-answer sessions with the youngsters, who were all very keen to put the Tottenham forward, and one of Sweden’s biggest stars, on the spot.

The situation was set up as part of a collaboration between Stockholm’s football association and Vitamin Well to given children and young people, who couldn’t ordinarily afford such training camps with the big stars, the opportunity to go to them.

They spent time with the likes of Kulusevski training and then grilling them on football, during which the Tottenham man was more than willing to offer up advice.

“It’s fun to meet the children, train with them, answer their questions and sign autographs,” Kulusevski told the outlet.

“I’m here because I enjoy it. You have a few hours you can give to others and do something good in everyday life.

“You meet new friends, learn to take instructions, learn to be on time and cooperate. Football is not just football – it is all of life.

“That there are football pitches where children can play and that they have fun here.” he added when asked what young people need to develop.

“And that there are good coaches who push them to be better every day and are here for them. And even if you don’t do well, you’re here, hanging out and making friends for life.”

And his advice?

“Respect everyone – both teammates and opponents. Train, forget that you are tired and instead be the first to train. If you don’t practice, you can’t get good at anything in life.”
