Burnley are yet to appoint a new manager after seeing Vincent Kompany leave the club for Bayern Munich.
That was something of a surprise switch and it forced the Clarets to move into a packed manager market looking for a new option.
They’re still to confirm who will lead the club in the Championship next season and a number of profiles have been favourite at any one time.
Claims now come from Sweden which are a little eyebrow raising to say the least. Expressen, a reliable newspaper, reports Henrik Jensen missed training as manager of Kalmar FF this morning.
Kalmar FF have had a rough time recently and find themselves second last in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top division.
That hasn’t stopped Burnley from noticing Jensen, with it stated the reason he skipped training is he’s ‘just details’ away from completing a move to the Championship club.
However, he won’t become the manager, and is set to be the assistant of whoever takes over. Jensen’s agent, Martin Dahlin, reused to give a comment to Expressen.
