In the past couple of days, reports from Portugal have been claiming that Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City are both interested in Porto defender David Carmo.
With the player’s loan spell at Olympiacos, he reportedly managed to draw interest from English clubs, who could now fight for his signing.
It turns out that as newspaper Record also writes about Carmo’s future, they now add Nottingham Forest to the race against Wolves and Leicester City.
The two clubs have been involved in a few deals, and that’s why Record now claims Nottingham Forest show up as a possibility.
Olympiacos have a €17.5m buying option over Carmo until the end of the month, but it’s suggested they don’t have the nmoney to get the operation done.
Perhaps Marinakis can make some manoeuvre to get the player to Nottingham Forest instead. That would give the Reds some advantage over Leicester City and Wolves.
