On Tuesday, Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reported Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers interest in FC Porto defender David Carmo.
It was claimed that both English sides started chasing the centre-back following the good season he just had on loan at Olympiacos.
Now the chase from Leicester City and Wolverhampton is backed up, with newspaper A Bola talking about it.
It’s said that Foxes and Wolves both ‘questioned the conditions’ to buy the centre-back, although his price was not really revealed by this story.
A Bola claims that Carmo’s future is very much open. He could be purchased by Olympiacos, try to stay and prove himself at Porto, or be sold to a Premier League club.
As previously reported by O Jogo, the Greek side have a €18m buying option to keep the defender.
A Bola say Olympiacos could try for another loan and that would be no surprise. It would, however, help Wolves and Leicester City if they’re prepared to offer a permanent deal.
