Manchester City youngster Máximo Perrone has admitted he already has an agreement with the club to head out on loan again this summer.
The midfielder has been speaking to Radio Marca, relayed by UD Las Palmas, with his loan deal at the Spanish side set to end on June 30th.
The youngster was signed by Manchester City from Vélez Sarsfield in an €11m in January 2023 and has managed two appearances in the first team to date, totalling 20 minutes.
He’s very much a player for the future and one of several young stars to have been picked up from Argentina in the last few years.
He’s spent this year on loan at Las Palmas and proven to be a regular, making 29 appearances in La Liga and featuring in 50% of the available minutes for them.
That loan is set to expire at the end of this month and so the question is what comes next, with no apparent plans for him to be in Manchester City’s first team yet. It seems, though, it’s already been decided, at least according to the midfielder.
“We have reached an agreement that there will be one more loan,” he said.
“To continue with the adaptation, one more year in La Liga would be the best.
“I think we have to look at the options. It’s still very early. You have to take it calmly and choose the best option.”
