Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs in the race for Barcelona youngster Vitor Roque.

As Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo today writes about the 19-year-old future, they feature a story highlighting Juventus’ interest, and claiming there are many other clubs who’d like to get him this summer.

It’s said that Manchester United are one of the sides who made contact with his agent, ‘asking for a loan’. The list of competitors is pretty long, though, with Porto, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Lens, Napoli, Lyon, Nice, Sevilla and Real Betis.

Barcelona spent €40m to land Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense in January 2024. With him not getting many chances to play for the Catalan side, there are now big rumours about him leaving the club in the coming months, possibly on a temporary deal.

While in Brazil, the player definitely showed enough potential to draw interest from big clubs as Manchester United. Now with the list of interested parties being so big, perhaps his agent is really doing everything to find him a solution in the transfer window, and we shall soon see if the Red Devils chase is real.
