Player has his ‘bags packed’ to join Nottingham Forest – Expectation it’ll be official soon

The first came from UOL, saying that Nottingham Forest want to pay the price, and Carlos Miguel, who likes the idea of moving to the Premier League, accepted the offer.

That’s also something said by Gazeta Esportiva. It’s claimed that the goalkeeper already had a verbal agreement with an ‘English club’, and now waits for the bureaucratic details.

Agent Kia Joorabchian is working on the deal, and Carlos Miguel already gave the green light for the move to be concluded. The story does not mention Nottingham Forest, and all they say is ‘the report found out that this is not a big club in England, but a team that competes in the Premier League, the elite of the English championship’.

The freshest story comes from journalist Victor Pozella on Twitter. There, it’s claimed that the goalkeeper has his ‘bags packed’ to join Nottingham Forest, where he’d meet his former Corinthians teammate Murillo.

Now it seems like a matter of time until everything is confirmed. It’s very likely the Brazilian club will still try to convince him to stay, but with the release clause being triggered, there’s nothing they can do to stop him.
