Liverpool are reportedly interested in Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento.

The information comes from France, where Sports Zone bring some exclusive news on the race for the 24-year-old.

It’s claimed that Liverpool are battling Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan for the goalkeeper’s signing.

The outlet also claims that the Brazilian is ‘ready’ to move to European football, although there’s no information about offers so far.

Bento has been standing out at Athletico for a while now. That led him to being called up by the national team, with him being part of the Copa América squad this summer, and also drew interest from European clubs.

Other Premier League sides such as Chelsea had already been linked to the goalkeeper recently, but it seems there’s still time for other clubs to try a deal for his transfer.

Some recent rumours have been saying that Alisson could leave Liverpool soon, so it would make sense for them to go after a replacement. It’s also worth recalling that Brazilian legend Claudio Taffarel is a goalkeeping coach at the Anfield side.
