Stoke City youngster Souleymane Sidibé has a growing list of potential admirers this summer, with Chelsea and Brighton interested in the Premier League.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the ‘precocious talent’ has no shortage of suitors and Chelsea and Brighton are among them.
They report that the 17-year-old may not be a major name at the moment, but he is a player who could be huge on the European football landscape in the years to come and that’s not gone unnoticed.
He is already being ‘praised by observers’, who have been watching his development at Stoke with interest, particularly after he was given a handful of appearances in the Championship this season.
He’s already been courted since the age of 14 by the likes o Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool and the fact he became the first player born in 2007 to make an appearance in the top two divisions in England this year, as well as becoming the 2nd youngster player in Stoke’s history, have only added to his reputation.
Scouts from across Europe are keeping an eye on him and there is a growing belie he could be a star of the future.
Chelsea, Juventus, Rangers and Brighton are all interested in him this summer, as are AS Monaco in France. They, though, know they face a battle with Stoke to wrest him away.
The Potters consider Souleymane Sidibé as a jewel and won’t give him up easily, especially as he has a contract that runs until 2026.
That means there’s no pressure to sell at this point, but perhaps if the Premier League duo come offering serious money, that might change.
