West Ham United, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the picture to sign Royale Union Saint-Gilloise star Mohamed Amoura, according to L’Equipe.
The striker joined the Jupiler Pro League club from Swiss side FC Lugano last summer and has starred in his debut season, managing 22 goals and six assists.
This has caught the attention of several European clubs, and from England, West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves are named as the 23-year-old’s suitors.
Toulouse tried signing the Algeria international last summer, while Lyon made an attempt in January. Marseille have recently explored the possibility of securing his services in the next window.
West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves are the interested parties from England, and it claimed these clubs have made contact over a potential deal for Amoura. Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg are his suitors from Germany.
L’Equipe state Royale Union Saint-Gilloise paid €3m to buy Amoura and now his value has skyrocketed to €20m, after he became a ‘big sensation’ in Belgian.
Last month, claims from Belgium stated the Hammers have made a €15m offer, which is €5m short of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise’s demand.
