Arsenal are one of the clubs in the mix for the signing of Mikayil Faye from Barcelona, according to reports today.
It’s the Italian media who are sharing some news on the youngster’s future, claiming there’s a big battle to get him from the Camp Nou side.
Calciomercato say Arsenal are competing with the likes of Chelsea, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus for the 28-year-old.
Even though Faye is still playing for Barça’s youth ranks, his potential has been enough to draw the interest from several clubs.
Other clubs had already tried to sign him in the past, and the La Liga giants turned down a €9m offer in January.
According to Calciomercato, it’d take between €15m and €20m to sign him in the summer, despite his €400m release clause.
That’s something the Catalan media have a different opinion about, though, because recent reports from the local press said Barcelona could make €30m with his sale.
That’s something we’ll have to wait and see, as Arsenal could be one of the clubs who’ll try his signing in the coming months, but it seems the LaLiga side are dreaming a bit if they are expecting anyone to go that high for the youngster.
