Crystal Palace are today linked to Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.
The information is brought by Andrea Di Lella on X, formerly Twitter, as the transfer market expert claims the Eagles are one of the clubs who have been ‘monitoring’ the 20-year-old’s performances in Serie A.
What could play in Crystal Palace’s favour is that Iling-Junior’s contract with Juventus expires next year, so the Old Lady may feel pressured to sell him now and not risk losing him for free.
It’s also pointed out that the Eagles aren’t the only club interested in taking the winger back to England, so there should be some competition for his signing.
Iling-Junior hasn’t been a regular starter at Juventus, and only has one goal and two assists in 20 appearances for the Bianconeri this season.
He’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €12m, and it remains to be seen how much the Old Lady would demand to let him go in the summer.
Since there’s the contract situation, Crystal Palace could use that as an advantage to get a fair price for the signing.
