Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both interested in Brazil goalkeeper Bento, according to reports from South America.

It’s Globo Esporte who today claims that following the 24-year-old’s recent appearances with the national team, several European sides are now keeping tabs on him.

The outlet claims that the likes of Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Inter Milan, Benfica and Chelsea are some of those who ‘promise to come strong’ for him in the summer.

It’s said that contacts for the goalkeeper ‘increased dramatically’ in the past few days, with both Athletico and his entourage getting sought by the interested clubs.

Bento wasn’t very much known abroad, but had good appearances against England and Spain in Brazil’s recent friendlies, and suddenly drew big attention from Europeans.

It’s said Athletico already turned down €15m offers for him, and they will now want more money to let him go.

Wolves have been using José Sá and Daniel Bentley, while Nottingham Forest had already signed Matt Turner and Odysseas Vlachodimos in the summer, having then brought Matz Sels in January.

This means we’ll see if they’re really keen on spending that money on another goalkeeper.
