As the German media talks about tomorrow’s Europa League clash between West Ham United and Freiburg, they now try to make it look like the Hammers are not in a comfortable situation for that match.

Bild feature a piece which starts by pointing out that the London side didn’t do well in their final ‘rehearsal’ before the game, as they had a 2-2 draw against Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.

Then it’s claimed that West Ham are actually ‘worried’ about their home support because the tickets are not sold out yet. And there would be fear that Freiburg fans can ‘take over their stadium’.

The Hammers are not used to playing so early on weekdays, and David Moyes even talked about that in a press conference. But Bild claims that the first leg, which was won by the Bundesliga side 1-0, is another reason why English fans are not so excited and confident for tomorrow’s match.

The outlet highlights that Freiburg fans arrived in London ‘by plane, ferry and camper’ and are already struggling through the city. Now it’s up to West Ham fans to show their own strength.
