FC Porto have a big week ahead of them. On Tuesday they face Arsenal in the Champions League, and will be hoping they can use their 1-0 victory in the first leg to go through to the next round.
They played their domestic league game on Friday evening, and managed to get a 3-0 away win to Portimonense. That came less than a week after their 5-0 victory over Benfica.
Things are going well right now, so it’s no surprise to see scouts show up at their games. Saturday’s edition of O Jogo reports Bayern Munich and Sevilla had officials in place… but also Norwich City and Leicester City.
Leicester City have scouted quite a lot in Portugal in recent seasons, but Norwich City aren’t there so much. Who each Championship club were watching isn’t clear, and O Jogo make no attempt to guess at any targets.
Regardless, Leicester and Norwich appear to be looking towards the Portuguese market ahead of the summer transfer window. If they turn up on further scouting lists in the coming weeks then the targets may become clearer.
