The permanent move of Deniz Undav from Brighton & Hove Albion to Stuttgart has been a hot topic in the German media recently.
Last month, the player claimed he ‘absolutely‘ wants to stay at the Bundesliga side, while their CEO also confirmed their wish to keep him.
There are still some details to be sorted, though, and Sky Deutschland, relayed by Fussball Transfers, now share some news on the situation.
According to their report, the Brighton loanee wants a ‘decent salary increase’ to stay at Stuttgart.
It’s pointed out that the German club have an agreement with the Seagulls to purchase him for between €12m and €18m, but they still need a personal agreement with the player.
Stuttgart could sell Serhou Guirassy for around €20m, and that would be enough to buy Undav, so the wages are the only issue standing in their way for now.
Since leaving Brighton for the Bundesliga side, Undav has 15 goals and five assists in 23 games, and already did enough to convince them to get him on a permanent deal.
