Over the past week, reports in England have suggested that Tottenham are interested in Udinese defender Festy Ebosele.
Spurs were very successful the last time they bought a player from the Serie A side, securing the services of Destiny Udogie, who was first loaned back before quickly becoming a big part of Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Mondo Udinese pick up on these reports on Thursday, recalling the deal struck between the Italian club and Tottenham for the left-back, before adding a bit of their own information about the feasibility of a deal for the right-back.
That’s currently Emerson Royal’s job, but the Brazilian has more been used in a variety of other roles than directly competing with the Spaniard.
Perhaps this is why Ebosele is being looked at, and Mondo Udinese now are waiting to see if Tottenham will make a concrete move for the youngster and ‘offer a sum of €15m’.
It appears that’s the price the Italian side would want for him, and if Spurs’ ambition of late is anything to go by, that shouldn’t be too difficult for them to find.
By comparison, Udogie cost Tottenham €18m.
