Leeds United and Southampton are in the mix to sign Udinese’s Festy Ebosele, according to a report from Italy.
The right-back has been a regular for the Serie A side since joining them from Derby County in 2022, and his fine displays haven’t gone unnoticed.
That’s at least what Udinese Blog are reporting, and they’ve named Leeds and Southampton as his ‘admirers’.
Both the Whites and Russell Martin’s side have been following the 21-year-old, who’s registered an assist from 26 games so far this season.
It’s claimed the right wing-back is ‘liked’ by those clubs and they are all ‘thinking of him’ for the summer.
The report adds the Irishman has also caught the attention of a few Premier League sides, and they could provide competition to Leeds and the Saints.
Daniel Farke’s side are currently second in the table, five points ahead of fourth placed Southampton. If the two clubs were to be promoted, it would improve their chances of securing the player’s services.
Ebosele’s contract lasts until 2027 and Transfermarkt currently value him at €6m. There’s no mention of whether he’s willing to leave Udinese after this season.
