As you might have seen, there have been claims that Arsenal were interested in signing Kenan Yildiz from Juventus, with talk of a €40m offer being suggested by the Gunners.
The Turkey international has caught the attention with his performances this season, both at club and national team level, which is why an interest from the Gunners wouldn’t be overly surprising.
Tuttosport, however, make it clear that the amount allegedly put forward by Arsenal for the youngster wouldn’t even come close to what the Serie A side would want for him.
In fact, he is ‘not a player for sale’, and ‘everything was returned to the sender’, as those within the club ‘have no doubts’ when they express their desire to rebuff any offers of ‘any amount’.
However, Tuttosport do suggest that all this does sound good in theory, but it would be interesting to see what their reaction would end up being should they indeed receive an €80m bid from Arsenal or another side.
Basically, if the Gunners do want Yildiz, they are going to have to cough up a lot of money.
