Amid the recent reports saying Chelsea are interested in Flamengo striker Pedro, the player isn’t having a very good time with the fans of his own club.
As today reported by O Dia, the centre-forward’s goal against Boa Vista last night couldn’t stop him from getting booed when substituted.
The outlet points out that Pedro missed at least four goals in the first half, and then missed a penalty, meaning that not even his good record this year was enough to hold the fans’ anger.
O Dia adds in their story that Chelsea continue to watch Pedro ‘closely’, as they look to add a centre-forward to their squad in the summer since they are without a recognised number nine in their squad.
This week, we’ve already seen both the player’s entourage and Flamengo claiming they are not aware of Chelsea’s interest, but with O Dia insisting that there’s a chase, we’ll see whether there will be a bid to sign him in the coming months.
