As has been reported a few times in Italy, West Bromwich Albion, who are in the process of being taken over by Shilen Patel, could change managers at the end of the season.
This came from Tuttosport, who claimed Ivan Juric was the man being targeted to reportedly replace Carlos Corberan, with an offer already made.
There has been a bit of talk since then, mostly surrounding the manager’s future at Torino, and Calciomercato.it suggest West Brom will face some competition if they are to get the Croatian.
They recall there is currently ‘high tension’ between Juric and his president Urbano Cairo, who recently had a bit of an outburst making it clear he was tired of having to talk about his manager’s future.
Juric’s contract expires at the end of the season, making him an appealing target for a lot of clubs, and while he is focused on finishing the campaign at his current club and taking them as high as possible, Calciomercato.it also add ‘there are several Premier League clubs’ interested in him.
They have put ‘offers on the table’ for him to look at, before recalling the Croatian also has a few admirers in Italy.
Therefore, if Patel and West Brom do want Juric, they are going to face a very tough fight to get him, and might be better off keeping a very good Corberan in place.
