Oliver Glasner will be joined by several fellow Austrians in his backroom team at Crystal Palace after confirming his move this week.
That’s according to journalist Peter Linden, who names the men set to join Glasner in the dugout at Selhurst Park.
Glasner was confirmed as Crystal Palace’s new manager yesterday following Roy Hodgson’s decision to step away from his role following a difficult few months.
Crystal Palace confirmed the appointment but are yet to announce who will be joining the Austrian, who watched Monday’s draw with Everton from the stands at Goodison Park, as part of his backroom team.
Linden, though, says that Glasner will be joined by assistants Michael Angerschmid and Ronald Brunmayr, athletic trainer Michael Berktold, and England specialist Emanuel Pogatetz.
Pogatetz, who has seemingly been targeted following his spells at Middlesbrough and West Ham in his career, was already known and reported last week.
The rest, though, are yet to be identified but Linden reports they have been with Glasner in London since Thursday last week and even watched Tottenham take on Wolves on Saturday as Crystal Palace’s next away game is against Ange Postecoglou’s side.
