The reporter doesn’t seem to have his own information on this chase, and just explains that Flamengo have no intention to let the striker go in the summer.

That sounds like a lot of money for a player who’s turning 27 this summer, especially because he’s not proven in European football, after a disappointing time at Fiorentina.
Pedro is undoubtedly one of the great goal-scorers in Brazil, with 107 goals in 221 matches for Flamengo, but his age makes an expensive move to a top Premier League side quite unlikely, especially with Flamengo expected to be tough in negotiations.
