It appears that Tanguy Ndombele, currently out on loan from Tottenham at Galatasaray, is once again struggling to prove himself.
It has been a very difficult season to date for the French midfielder, who has been in and out of the Süper Lig team’s starting XI, showing flashes of brilliance amid long spells of play that have drawn a lot of criticism.
The 27-year-old was once again the subject of harsh comments from the Turkish media, as Fanatik dedicated some strong words towards the Tottenham loanee on Wednesday.
This came after his performance on Tuesday night against Bandirmaspor in the Turkish Cup; a game which he started in and played the full 90 minutes.
Playing the entirety of a game just twice since moving from Tottenham to Istanbul, Ndombele didn’t impress despite the win.
Fanatik explain that Galatasaray don’t have a star in the French midfielder, ‘they have a problem’.
The list of criticisms then start, explaining that ‘he finishes games without a sprint, he avoids tackles, he is absent in fast breaks and the more he plays, the worse he gets’.
While there are some Galatasaray fans who might still believe in some sort of redemption, Fanatik believe they ‘must be getting more and more desperate the more they watch him’.
The feeling is that ‘every minute Ndombele plays, he seems to be robbing Galatasaray youngsters of their future’.
Not exactly the comments Tottenham and the player will have been hoping for six months or so into the loan.
