Fulham and West Ham United have Hoffenheim’s Anton Stach ‘on the list’ ahead of the summer, with the player keen on a move to England.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the 25-year-old is ‘tailor-made’ for the Premier League and there is interest in him too.
They explain that Fulham and West Ham ‘have him on the list’ and there could be a deal there to be done if Hoffenheim fail to qualify for Europe this season.
He’s currently valued at €15m and ‘definitely wants’ to play in England in the next few years if the possibility is there for him to do so.
Whether either Fulham or West Ham make a move for him in the summer remains to be seen but the opportunity is therefore them if they want it.
Fulham could definitely be on the hunt for a new number six if they eventually lose Joao Palhinha, who has long been linked with a move away from Craven Cottage and is likely to be targeted again in the summer.
West Ham makes less sense given they signed Edson Alvarez last summer and brought in Kalvin Phillips in January, so are well covered in that position as it is.
That’s not stopped Premier League sides from making moves in the past, though, and Stach is a name to keep an eye on moving forwards.
