West Bromwich Albion and Bristol City are among the clubs in the mix to sign Huddersfield Town’s Brahima Diarra.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state the 20-year-old ‘could well leave’ Huddersfield Town before the winter market closes on Thursday.
This seems to have alerted West Brom, Bristol City and several other clubs in England and France.
It’s said the Baggies and Liam Manning’s side are among the nine Championship sides ‘ready to welcome’ the midfielder within the next 48 hours. The details of the other seven English clubs aren’t mentioned.
In addition to this, Foot Mercato state an unnamed Ligue 1 side are also very interested in acquiring the player’s services.
Huddersfield Town initially signed the Mali U23 international for their academy in 2019, before promoting him to their senior team a year later.
The Terriers allowed Diarra to spend the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Harrogate Town. Since returning to his parent club, he’s made 37 appearances in the Championship, mainly as a substitute.
Diarra’s deal lasts until the summer, but Foot Mercato claim he could leave Huddersfield Town in this window.
