Rıdvan Yılmaz’s situation seems to be one of the pending subjects for Rangers to sort in the final days of the transfer window.

The 22-year-old has long been linked to Galatasaray, who, so far, couldn’t find an agreement with Phillipe Clement’s side for his transfer.

An update on this chase is today brought by journalist Yagiz Sabuncouglu. He now claims that Rangers and the Turkish side will hold ‘another meeting’ for Yılmaz this week.

This is the same reporter who, back on Saturday, revealed that the Rangers recently turned down a bid from Galatasaray for the move.

It was said that the Turkish side placed an offer for a loan with a €3m option to buy, while Rangers wanted €4.5m guaranteed, either with a straight permanent move or an obligatory clause.

Galatasaray are still to meet those demands, and we shall see what they’ll have to offer in the coming days.

This chase has been on for a couple of weeks now, and by leaving the final push so late, either Galatasaray will need to be ready to get close to Rangers’ request.
