Club in ‘final phase’ of talks to sign Manchester United player – Assumption deal will be done

Granada are in the ‘final phase’ of talks with Manchester United to sign youngster Facundo Pellistri on loan until the end of the season.

That’s according to Granada Hoy, who say a deal is expected to be closed sooner rather than later for the Uruguayan winger.

The explain that Pellistri is the winger that Granada want to sign before the end of the January transfer window as they continue to explore their options to strengthen their squad.

Their sports management are in the ‘final phase’ of the financial negotiations with Manchester United to finalise the signing, echoing reports yesterday that the two sides were negotiating over the split of the player’s wages.

They say that once that deal is closed, indicating a confidence all round that it will be, the Spanish club will focus on further improving their squad before the end of the window.

The belief is that the negotiations with Manchester United will be closed before too long and they will have time to look elsewhere to ensure he’s not the only offensive arrival before the January window closes.
