Earlier today, we covered a number of claims split between Norway and Belgium that Tottenham were interested in signing Antonio Nusa.
It was made clear that Spurs had made contact to sign the Club Brugge starlet, but no bid had been made to date.
However, there was an expectation this could happen sooner rather than later, with the belief the young forward could then be loaned back to the Belgian side by Tottenham to finish the season; a move that Øyvind Alsaker, speaking on VG, approves of.
Firstly, though, he did point out that moving from Bruges to London to a club like the Premier League one could be difficult at first.
Alsaker then added now would be the perfect time to move to Tottenham, especially since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou appears to have balanced a ship that had been lost at sea for a few years.
He continued: “Tottenham is a very nice place to go. There’s a positive atmosphere there now, with a great manager who loves pace up top and players with an X-factor. There’s a nice ‘go’ at that club and a good time to come in. It hasn’t always been like that.”
Since the start of the season, Nusa has made 26 appearances for Brugge, scored three goals and assisted another three, but has found himself coming off the bench perhaps a bit more than he would have wanted.
