Cardiff City may be eyeing a move for Adana Demirspor’s Badou Ndiaye, thanks to manager Erol Bulut.
That’s according to Sports Digitale and journalist Ertan Süzgün, who say they have included the 33-year-old on their list of potential targets this month.
Cardiff are yet to sign any players to bolster their squad in the January transfer window, with Eli King the only arrival after returning from a loan spell at Morecambe FC, although he was immediately sent to Scotland on another deal.
They need reinforcements, though, with Kieron Evans heading to Gateshead and loanees Ike Ugbo and Jonathan Panzo both going back to their parent clubs.
Ndiaye could be someone they look at, with Sports Digitale and Süzgün reporting that manager Erol Bulut has added him to their list of options.
Ndiaye has experience playing in England after a spell with Stoke City, who he joined for €16m in January 2018, although that as only a short stint which was followed by numerous loan deals and then a free transfer exit to Aris Saloniki in July 2021.
He spent a year there before moving to Turkey but could be set for a return to the United Kingdom, if Cardiff decide he’s the man they want.
