Despite Radu Dragusin making his debut against Manchester United for Tottenham, Djed Spence, who went the other way on loan to Genoa, did not feature in his potential first game against Torino.
The right-back has had to wait longer than expected to be selectable by Alberto Gilardino because of some apparent paperwork issues.
However, according to Gazzetta di Mantova, the Tottenham loanee will now be able to feature for his new side this weekend.
The newspaper explain that the ‘bureaucratic problems’ have been solved, and he will be able to ‘rejoin the list of players in the squad’.
Genoa are preparing for an away game against Salernitana, and there is a chance the 23-year-old could make his debut in that game, whether it be from the off or off the bench.
Prior to his move to Italy, the defender had been on loan from Tottenham at Leeds, but had failed to establish himself in the first half of the season under Daniel Farke.
He was therefore recalled by Spurs and used as part of the deal to sign the Romania international earlier on in the January transfer window.
