Over the summer, Yerry Mina finally managed to put an end to his Everton adventure, as the centre-back’s contract at Goodison Park came to an end.

The Colombian arrived from Barcelona in an expensive transfer worth over €30m in 2018, but injuries had plagued his time on Merseyside.

He left them in the summer and signed for Fiorentina not long after, but even there, he has struggled for minutes, and could leave them in January if the right offer comes along, months after exiting Everton, according to César Luis Merlo.

The journalist took to X to reveal the news, claiming that Hellas Verona, Cádiz, Alavés and ‘other Turkish clubs’ are interested in the centre-back.

In fact, ‘if the offer is good’, Fiorentina would be prepared to let him go, meaning he would be transferring just six months after leaving Everton.

Since joining the Serie A side, he has made seven appearances in all competitions, with just 41 minutes played in the league to date, which is as far removed from what he will have been hoping for when he committed to the Italian club.
