Earlier on Friday, we covered a report that Imran Louza was heading from Watford on loan to Lorient after a deal was agreed.
In fact, everything appeared to be happening very quickly, and there was a belief he could even have his medical done today.
However, it appears there might be some delays, as L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi is reporting the tests for the Watford player ‘could be delayed’ to allow the player to travel.
As things stand, the midfielder is still in London, meaning he has yet to travel to France, which doesn’t help when that’s where the medicals are set to take place.
Either way, the agreement between Watford, Lorient and Louza remains, meaning this is just a matter of when and not if.
It’s pointed out in a previous quoted tweet that this is a dry loan for the next six months, meaning the player will return to Vicarage Road once the agreed deal has run its course at the end of the season.
Louza has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Watford this season, scoring one goal and assisting another three.
La visite médicale pourrait être décalée pour laisser le temps au joueur d'arriver sur Lorient. Mais l'accord est là et c'est juste une question d'heure. Louza est encore sur Londres. https://t.co/vVCCiPP7K8
